Profile:
Anna has regularly represented both Local Authorities and parents in public law Children Act proceedings, on many occasions representing parents with learning difficulties.
Anna also deals with all aspects of private law Children Act applications, including those with a foreign element. Anna has also advised Local Authorities on aspects of immigration and child abduction.
Anna has acted in wardship proceedings for adults with learning disabilities. She has an interest in mental health and education law. Her practice includes cases of domestic violence and housing proceedings. She also undertakes ancillary relief work including those that involve trusts of land.
Anna has lectured paediatricians on aspects of evidence in family courts.
Anna volunteers at Toynbee Hall in the East End.
In 2007 Anna has undertaken an FLBA sponsored placement to assist with the work of the Children's Legal Services operation in Tajikistan, Central Asia.
